Between the pounding surf of the breakwater and the hypnotic pulsing of the reef?  You’re at Halfway Rock.

Combining a passion for filmmaking with a broad command of digital technology, Halfway Rock Media generates exciting, captivating productions on a wide range of marine-themed topics.

One hundred feet beneath the surface of the ocean on the decks of a shipwreck, on the muddy banks of a meandering river or scrutinizing a single square foot of coral - wherever there’s a story to tell, Halfway Rock is ready to go.  Come with us.  Or take us there…

Halfway Rock Media is run principally by award-winning filmmaker Aaron Faulls.  Aaron began his filmmaking career in 2003 but quickly amassed a wide client list, including such high-profile companies as Accenture, Mullen Advertising and Clear Channel Communications.

An SSI/PADI Instructor for 5 years and a New England diver for 15, Aaron has been principle cameraman on aquatic locations as unique as the Charles River Basin and serene as The Cayman Islands.  His work has appeared on regional programming as well networks such as MTV, The Sailing Channel and The Water Channel.  He has served as director of underwater cinematography on several recent documentaries, including All Points Of The Compass:  Community Boating, directed by the critically-acclaimed Italian filmmaker Franco Sacchi.

Assuming the role of writer, director and editor, Aaron released Still On Her Keel:  The Legacy Of The Chester Poling in March of 2006 and continues to gain critical steam and immediate buzz, most recently picking up the award for Best Documentary Feature at the Sundeis Film Festival and a June 2006 television premiere on The Water Channel.

Throughout 2006 and into 2007, Aaron is already scheduled for short-term projects in places like California and Hawaii and extended expeditions to the offshore mysteries of Massachusetts’ Stellwagen Bank and the wilds of the Galapagos.
